DESTINI BELL

Destini’s love for storytelling began at a young age. She would read and write about fictional ideas and stories that she created in her head. She found that being in the entertainment industry was where she belonged. She did Theatre for 10 years. She was the assistant stage manager at the Jubilee Theatre for the show, Two Trains Running, at the age of 17. She was in the top 20 for Fort Worth’s Circle Theatre’s playwriting competition in 2017. Then, at the end of her senior year of high school, she made her first short film, Goofy Goobers. After high school, she enrolled into the Media Arts program at the University of North Texas. She won the Frightening Film Competition for UNT’s Black Film Club with her short film, Mirror Mirror. While in college, Destini has explored photography, art and screenwriting. At the end of 2021, she received her Bachelor degree in Media Arts (Radio, Television, and Film). She is now a freelance video editor and photographer in the DFW area.
